Hi there, I need a vacuum sealer which will seal liquid in bags as well dry items. Is your sealer comfortable with liquids in the equation and will they cause any longevity issues with the machine?

**A:** Retort canning is the process of sealing food in an airtight container and then sterilizing it with heat and pressure to preserve the food longer. You can do this with specialized chamber vacuum pouches. Because they require additional heat and pressure to seal, not all of our vacuum sealers can seal these pouches without using a specialized retort sealing bar.

The JVR Vac310 (2 Bar) – Chamber Vacuum Sealer, may be just a tabletop machine. But it’s a workhorse and built with durability and speed in mind. Capable of sealing up to 16″x 16″ vacuum pouches, the Vac310 is exceptionally qualified compared to our competitors.
Powerful Rotary Vane Oil Lubricated Vacuum Pump
Equipped with a 1.25 hp commercial grade, oil-lubricated, rotary-style vacuum pump capable of achieving vacuum seal levels exceeding 29.8″ Hg, capable of evacuating 99% of the air in a 30-second vacuum cycle. Our pump outperforms most 1.5 hp vacuum pumps. Capable of removing 99% of the air in just 20 seconds, the Vac310 vacuum chamber sealer is built for speed and efficiency.
Transparent Acrylic Lid
The transparent acrylic lid on our unit serves two purposes. The primary function is to view the product during operations. Optimal viewing is critical when problems arise so that the customer can diagnose the issue more rapidly under our direction. The second purpose of the lid is to promote faster vacuum cycle times for lower-profile products. The 6.75″ maximum chamber height provides ample room for sealing high-profile products.
Extra-Wide Seal Integrity
The JVR Vac310 is equipped with a massive 10 mm heat strip, otherwise known as seal wire. Typically speaking, vacuum chambers are paired with a dual 3 mm heat strip in their seal bar assembly. JVR Industries wanted to reduce heat strip changeover times and grant extra insurance in the seal integrity.
