**Q:** Hello, How heavy is the drum on it's own? Both the 25lb and 50lb capacity units? Do you have any videos of the unit actually working with proteins and marinade? I noticed in the video a pre-vacuum section was shown but shouldn't the clamps hold the lid securely? Thank you, Robert Robert De Salazar asked on March 11, 2024

**A:** The drum on the 25lb tumbler weighs 22lbs and the drum on the 50lb unit weighs 30lbs.
Regarding a video of the machine in action, we've requested videos from our customers and we're waiting for them to be provided so we can upload. Once available we will post links for everyone to view.
Regarding the need to pull a light vacuum on the lid rather than simply using the clamps. The clamps are for holding the lid center and yes in most instances they will provide an adequate seal, however, in some instances we've found that the lid may shift when loading the drum onto the machine frame, resulting in a leak. For this reason we suggest pulling a light vacuum on the lid to provide a much stronger, airtight seal.
