Promarks Lid Gasket slowly degrades over time due to constant pressure under the draw of the vacuum. Eventually lid gaskets will deform causing small vacuum leaks. Eventually you will see your pouches not having all the air removed. This is a good indicator that your unit has a vacuum leak and could mean you need to replace the Lid Gasket.
