VM100 is an oil specifically designed for use in the food industry, with proven performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Replaces Busch R-530 Oil 831.033.01. It features high viscosity paired with highly refined hyrdrocarbons. The VM100 oil gives excellent lubricating performance where rust, oxidation, and/or high bearing and gear loading are not problems. It has excellent water separation and oxidation resistance.

Busch VM100 Oil is ideal for R 5 series rotary vane vacuum pumps and for temperatures up to 80°C.

Oil Requirements

Busch vacuum pumps (R 5 series) must provide:

• Optimum lubrication properties to the bearings & sliding surfaces
• Tightening of the gaps to prevent sealing leakage
• Protection against corrosion and premature wear

Precautions

Precautionary methods: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.

Wash skin with soap and water after handling synthetic oils.

Save resources by recycling excess oil and the bottle.

NOTE: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND for small vacuum pumps typically found in table-top vacuum sealers. For these applications, we recommend our lighter #22 oil.

NOTE: NOT RECOMMENDED for pumps being used in cold rooms (under 50°F) or severe duty application. For these applications, we recommend our lighter #46 oil or our severe-duty synthetic oil.
