Busch VSB100 Oil is a long life lubricant with ISO100 viscosity. Formulated as a synthetic food-grade oil with rust and oxidation inhibitors so corrosion is not a problem. Specifically designed to provide optimal reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance, VSB100 oil is compatible with Busch R5 series rotary vane vacuum pumps. Replaces Busch R570 oil. Oil Requirements
Busch vacuum pumps (R 5 series) must provide:
Optimum lubrication properties to the bearings & sliding surfaces.
Tightening of the gaps to attain guaranteed end pressure.
Protection against corrosion and premature wear.

NOTE: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND for small vacuum pumps typically found in table-top vacuum sealers. For these applications, we recommend our lighter #22 oil.
NOTE: NOT RECOMMENDED for pumps being used in cold rooms (under 50°F) or severe duty application. For these applications, we recommend Busch VSB068 Oil.
