Often overtime the heat will cause structural integrity of your 8mm heat strip to degrade leading to a broken or burnt out heat strip. Designed to gently wrap around the retort bar assembly to encourage longer life span. Kinked or harshly bent heat strips will cause shorter life spans and more frequent changes on heat strips. Purchase a back up heat strip if you plan on using your JVR Vac110 frequently.
