How to Access Secondary Settings – Vac100
“The control panel on the JVR Vac100 is a light-sensitive control panel…”
A very common question for us to receive is: “How do I access secondary settings on my JVR Vac100?”
Today, we will answer that question simply!
To access secondary settings, simply press and hold the settings button for about five seconds.

The Functionality of the JVR Vac100 Control Panel
There are six main buttons on the Vac100 control panel: power, stop, settings, increase, decrease, and pump. Every button except for settings is a single function button. This means when they are pressed once, they respond. However, the settings button is different from the others. It has a press and release function to access the main settings. But it also has a press and hold function, which accesses secondary settings. Press and hold your finger on the settings button for about five seconds to access the secondary settings menu (your machine will emit a beep if your sound is turned on).
Secondary Settings Options
Now that you’ve accessed secondary settings, the first option that will open on the screen is vacuum. This is the tool you’re going to use to recalibrate your machine.
The second option is a screen saver. If you turn the screen saver off, your screen will continuously be on when your unit is turned on and connected to power. However, if you turn the screen saver on, your display will go to sleep after a certain duration of time.
The third option under secondary settings is sound. When you hit buttons on the control panel, they beep. Turn sounds on or off depending on your personal preference.
The last setting you can access under secondary settings is language.

Important Notes about the Control Panel
The control panel on the JVR Vac100 is a light-sensitive control panel, meaning that when you block the light, it responds. To ensure that the control panel responds appropriately to your touch, make sure you lay your finger completely flat on the button when you want a response.
