“…the chamber accessory provides ample room for more bulk endeavors right in your kitchen!”
The JVR Vac100 is constructed perfectly for kitchen use. One way in which this applies is that the size is small enough for your counter. However, that does not mean you can not perform some applications in bulk. Conveniently, the Vac100 has an accessory port so that you can apply the vacuum to external containers like the chamber accessory 3-gallon. Find out about our game-changing accessory, the chamber accessory (3-gallon), its most popular applications, and how to use it effectively.
Chamber Accessory (3-Gallon) Description
Similar to a giant canister, the chamber accessory provides ample room for more bulk endeavors right in your kitchen! The chamber accessory allows you to utilize the internal Vac100 vacuum pump to pull a vacuum on a larger-sized external chamber. With this process, you can seal large mason jars, vacuum marinate large amounts of protein for meal planning, feeding large parties, and more!
How it Works
By connecting a hose from this port to the accessory chamber, you can apply a vacuum to the chamber accessory for endeavors outside the capabilities of the Vac100 chamber alone. We have included an accessory setting (PUMP) on the control panel so the internal pump applies the vacuum pull through that accessory port inside the Vac100 chamber.

Chamber Accessory Capabilities
Now that you know what the chamber accessory is, let’s review a couple of ways in which it will improve your vacuum packaging experience.
Mason Jars
Although the Vac100 is versatile and can perform many duties on its own, you may find that some applications require a larger chamber space is impossible – except it is not! One of the most popular applications of the chamber accessory is to vacuum seal a couple of the largest mason jars at a time!
Fits 2-64 oz (1/2 gallon) wide-mouth Ball Mason jars
Fits 4-32 oz (946ml) regular mouth Ball Mason jars
NOTE: This does not replace the traditional canning process using a water bath to kill bacteria. This simply allows you to vacuum-seal fragile items without crushing them, as well as eliminate oxygen for longer shelf life.
The Perfect Solution for Bulk Marination:
No more dry, flavorless meat! Expedite the marination process while creating evenly flavored and tender protein with your favorite marinade. Chill overnight, package, and freeze for meal planning, or use the vacuum to expedite the process in preparation for a dinner party. You will have your guests wondering how you didn’t have to spend days food-prepping!
Additional Ideas!
Alcohol or Extract Infusions: This accessory is also perfect for any infusions you would like to take on. Imagine the recipe experiments you can perform with this option handy!
Expedited Pickling: Pickles, beets, onions, asparagus, lemons, ginger, you name it! Pickle a larger quantity in less time with a large vacuum chamber!
Infuse Cold Brew Coffee: Do you own a cafe and need great quality cold brew made in amounts that handle your customer flow? Or maybe you’d like to begin a long week prepared with cold brew in your fridge! The chamber accessory provides an efficient way to meet all your coffee needs with ease.
Steps to Use the Chamber Accessory (3-Gallon)
GOOD NEWS! Your Vac100 already comes with the accessory hose (100-05). You do not have to pay extra for this part.
The steps to utilize the chamber accessory depend on what you are using it for. But they are both equally easy!
Tips About Vacuum Sealing Mason Jars
When the vacuum is applied to the chamber, the positive pressure is pulled from the jar, slightly lifting the jar lid. Once the vacuum cycle is complete, air rushes back into the chamber. While the chamber returns to atmospheric pressure, the force of air pushes the jar lid down onto the rim. The negative pressure now trapped in the jar creates a tight seal, keeping the food fresh with limited oxygen.
Steps for Use
Mason Jars: Before placing the jar in the chamber, ensure the lid is on evenly and the screw band is rotated on by one thread. This will allow the lid to lift off when the vacuum is being applied, while not flying off.
1. Place the product at the base of the chamber.
2. Evenly place the chamber accessory lid onto the rim.
3. Connect the end of the accessory hose to the lid valve
4. Make sure the lid valve is open.
5. Power on the Vac100.
6. Select PUMP on the control overlay. Lift the Vac100 lid to manually begin the accessory port vacuum.
7. Hold the accessory hose nozzle firmly over the accessory port.
8. The vacuum gauge will exhibit the vacuum level.
NOTE: If the gauge pin does not move, ensure you are pressing firmly on the nozzle above the accessory port. Also, ensure the chamber accessory lid is firmly and evenly pressed over the rim.
9. Once the vacuum has reached the desired level, close the valve on the lid.
10. Disconnect the nozzle from the accessory port.
11. Select the SKIP function on the control panel to stop the vacuum.
12. For Mason Jars: Open the valve, and let the air rush back into the chamber to seal the lids.
