In the heart of Kansas City, AAMP will hold its 86th annual convention – anticipated to be its biggest yet! The staff here at JVR Industries always look forward to this time of year as it is an opportunity for us to meet you face-to-face and learn alongside those as passionate about meat processing and food storage as we are. If you enjoy yourself as much as we have each year, you won’t regret it!
About AAMP
Its roots date back to 1908 when H. K. Earnes offered his plant to farmers for meat storage. Between Clarence Birdseye’s discoveries in the Arctic about freeze methods utilized by the Eskimos and the merging of associations throughout the US, the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) was founded. AAMP is now known as the largest meat trade organization in North America.
AAMP functions as a networking opportunity, informational source, and much more for small and medium firms involved in the meat trade industry. Currently, AAMP consists of 16,000 members, including packers, meat processors, butchers, etc., not only from America but from several various foreign countries.

The AAMP Convention is AAMP’s largest annual event geared towards creating an opportunity for small meat processing businesses to network and learn together. This event provides members the chance to showcase their products or simply join in the events to connect, collaborate, and learn with those in similar professional lines.
